Frequently Asked Questions

This is a true live patient implant course. Participants actively place dental implants on real patients under direct faculty supervision. It is not a lecture-only program or observation-only course. All procedures are performed in a controlled clinical environment with experienced mentors guiding each step.

No prior implant experience is required for the Intermediate / Beginner track. The course is structured to support dentists at different skill levels, with faculty-led treatment planning and one-on-one mentorship. Advanced clinicians may enroll in the All-on-Four (Advanced) track for more complex cases.

Each participant may place up to 15 implants, depending on case availability and clinical pace. Unlike many implant courses with live patients, mentorship is intentionally limited, with one faculty mentor per operatory, ensuring individualized guidance throughout the surgical process.

Procedures are performed under strict clinical protocols, with continuous faculty supervision to ensure patient safety and educational value. The goal is hands-on learning in a responsible, structured environment.

No. This course does not confer specialty status or replace formal specialty training. It provides advanced continuing education, hands-on clinical experience, and mentorship to help general dentists confidently incorporate implant procedures into their practice within their scope of training and local regulations.

Yes. All clinical procedures are performed in an approved clinical setting and under direct supervision of licensed, experienced faculty. The course is structured to comply with local regulations and educational standards in the host country, ensuring both patient safety and participant protection.

Patients are carefully pre-screened prior to the course. Each case is evaluated using CBCT imaging and clinical criteria to ensure suitability for educational implant placement. Treatment planning is completed with faculty guidance before any surgical procedures take place.

You are never required to proceed beyond your comfort level. Faculty members are present at all times to assist, guide, or step in when needed. The learning environment is supportive and mentorship-driven, not evaluative or high-pressure.

The course emphasizes practical, real-world techniques that general dentists can apply in their practices, within their scope of training and applicable regulations. Treatment planning, surgical workflow, and clinical decision-making are taught with everyday practice realities in mind.
